Gold Coins (GC) are for play. They have no cash value and can never be redeemed — you get them free from the faucet, the signup bonus, rain and giveaways, or you buy them in a coin package. Degen Cash (DC) is a free promotional entry currency. You can’t buy it: it comes free with a coin package, or free through rain, giveaways, challenges, races and promos. DC is the only one that can be redeemed for a prize.

Every game plays identically in either currency, so anything a paying player can win, a free player can win.

The house edge is the share of everything wagered that the house keeps on average over a very large number of rounds. It is not a fee taken from your balance and it says nothing about any single round — you can win on a game with a 10% edge and lose on one with 0.5%.

Because it hasn’t been played yet. DC that we granted you — rakeback, daily cases, rain — has to be played through before it can be redeemed, so the free economy can’t simply be cashed straight out. Your redeemable balance is what’s left after that. It clears as you play.

So every payout stays instant. House-banked games cap profit per round; the current number is shown on the casino page and served live. Poker pots and tournament prizes are exempt, and GC play is never capped.
